Chef Anton

Two Time United Stated Trick Shot Champion

Welcome back to Chef Anton’s Magical Menu of Pool Ball Wizardry.  This year we had so many quality entries to Chef Anton’s Original Trick Shot/Betcha Contest, it was difficult to select only three winners.  So I would like to acknowledge some of the other unique entries with my Honorable Mention Award.  This month’s Honorable Mention goes to Mr. Leonard Cornell - Quebec, Canada.

This is an extremely creative trick shot and a puzzling betcha.  Set the 9 ball and cue ball on the rail and challenge anyone to pocket it in the opposite side pocket.  Seems impossible, right?  Once the mark gives up, follow these instructions sent to me by Leonard.

“Add three cues in the side pocket, from left to right across the table.  Strike the cue ball with a medium stroke.  The cue will drive the nine ball up the cues.  Once in the track, the nine ball will go across the table and successfully go into the side pocket to the utter dismay of your mark.”

Thanks again to Mr. Leonard Cornell for his original trick shot.

Thanks and Bon Appetit.

I need your help.  I am in search of learning every “betcha” in existence.  For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first.  This is exactly what I am interested in finding.

So if you know any “grifts”, even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately.  I will give an autographed video for every “betcha” sent to me that I have not seen before.  If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway.  Please e-mail me at Betcha@ChefAnton.com or mail your entries to:
