Chef Anton Two Time United Stated Trick Shot Champion Welcome back to Chef Anton’s Magical Menu of Pool Ball Wizardry. Here is a simple shot that is a blend of two simple (and well known) shots. This is how a lot of great shots are created. Take an existing shot or theory, add to it, and create your own original trick. Voila. This shot is known as K9. You will have to watch my video to understand why. K9 is based on two independent shots. First, the classical 2 ball spot shot with both balls firing into the corner pockets. Second, the highly effective betcha where you toss your cue stick on the table to guide the cue ball. Both shots have stood the test of time, which explains why K9 is one of my most popular shots. Here is how it works. Set the balls up as diagrammed. Notice the ghost ball to help you correctly set up the two ball combo. The cue stick does not start on the table. You lay it down after you have shot the cue ball. Announce you will make 4 balls in one shot with every ball going into a different pocket. Sounds impossible, right? Well, it is unless you know the secret. Shoot the cue ball with a firm stroke with high inside english. You need enough power for the cue ball to hook around the one ball and miss the scratch in the corner pocket. The two ball will fire into the opposite corner pocket. Place the cue stick on the table as diagrammed. The cue ball will ricochet off the stick, pocketing the three in the side, and then gracefully follow along its path to triumphantly pocket the four ball in the corner pocket. Easy and deceptive. That is my kind of shot. Thanks and Bon Appetit. Send a betcha or an original trick shot and win a FREE Copy ofI need your help. I am in search of learning every “betcha” in existence. For example, the oldest pool betcha known to man is where the three ball are balanced on the end rail in a pyramid configuration, and you bet your mark you can hit the other two balls first. This is exactly what I am interested in finding. So if you know any “grifts”, even if they do not apply to pool, send it to me immediately. I will give an autographed video for every “betcha” sent to me that I have not seen before. If you are not sure if I have seen it or not, send it anyway.
